We are searching for Interns! If you are a college or high school student interested in an internship opportunity in a non-profit charitable organization like the CPS we have internship opportunities in various divisions. All you have to do is complete the Internship Application Form below and submit it to programs@cpsociety.org. See below FAQ about our internship opportunities.

We are especially looking for interns with Computer Information Technology experience including website design, website development,  software development, programming, database development etc. Please clearly state in your application if you have any Computer Information Technology skills.

What are the eligibility criteria?

Enrollment is open to students age 18 and older.  Interns can either be currently enrolled in  high school, college  graduate school. New graduates can also apply.

What are the benefits of being a CPS intern?

How long are the internships? Minimum internship length is 3 months. Longer internships are available upon request. Minimum enrollment is 3 months to receive a  completion certificate and CPS reference. Internships longer than 3 months can be customized based on the need of the CPS and the student’s availability.

What division within the CPS offers internship? Our critical needs are in Finance and IT areas. Other areas with internship availability includes  Marketing, Programs, Events, Operations, Human Resources and Legal  divisions.

What is the enrollment process for interns? Complete the Internship Application Form.

Do I have to be a CPS  member to enroll? No. However, we encourage all in terns to become full members to take  advantage of all the many membership benefits at CPS.

What are the CPS expectations for all Interns?

A major characteristic of a professional body like the CPS is that its members continually strive to improve the quality of life of the community it serves. Individuals deciding to affiliate themselves with the CPS assume the responsibility of conducting themselves in accordance to the ideals and standards set forth by the organization. Do you provide an internship completion document to interns? Yes. This is available upon request.

Are interns allowed to use the CPS as a  reference for jobs and or school opportunities? Yes. We will provide you with details on what information to use for your references.

Do i need internet access to enroll in the Internship Program? Yes. Currently, the CPS primarily utilizes online platforms for a significant amount of our internal operations. However, this might change in the future as we continue to grow and expand.

Can i enroll in the Internship Program if i’m not a resident of the United States? Yes. You must meet the requirements to apply as an international applicant. If you have access to high speed internet at your home, phone service at home  and can frequently communicate through mobile devices, then you can enroll in the CPS  internship program. Please contact us for additional details.

My primary language is French, can I apply? If you are Bilingual and fluent in the English language written and orally, you can apply. You have to be fluent in the English language written and orally to be considered for the internship. Most assignments will require interns  to read and create documents in English. We currently don’t offer internships to individuals who only speak the French language. However, this may change in the the future as we expand and offer more services to the community. Is this a paid internship? NoCurrently we are only offering non-paid internships.  However, this may change in the future as we continue to grow and expand.

When will i be notified if i am accepted? While our goal is to review and respond to all applicants as soon as possible, however, due to the high volume of applications we receive it may take 2-3 weeks for the review process and a final decision. If accepted into the program the new Intern will receive a Welcome CPS Packet with assignments and an assigned CPS Mentor.
