Austin is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and currently practices as an independent auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP (Boston) where he provides industry expertise to biotechnological and pharmaceutical firms. He is a strong advocate for leadership development among Africans but especially within the Cameroonian community.
He is a graduate of Bridgewater State College – Massachusetts, with both a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance (Magna cum Laude) and a Master’s degree in Management Science.
Austin is the recipient of numerous awards including the Bridgewater State College’s Alumni Association Award – an Award for Excellence. In addition, Austin won first place in the 2006 annual student essay competition sponsored by the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA). He was named to the 2005 list of Who’s Who among American Colleges and Universities and recognized at the 2005 Massachusetts Hall of Black Achievement (HOBA).
