The CPS is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit, with the goal of creating and sustaining a positive link between Cameroonian professionals in the Diaspora. We were founded in 2010 by a group of young Cameroonian professionals who saw the need for our Diaspora to leverage each other’s skills to be able to attain success in the US, and also to be able to provide constructive ideas to our national discourse
The CPS Congress is the seminal event that brings together leading Cameroonian professionals, as well as others, from all walks of life to network with each other and to formulate and propose some solutions to the many problems plaguing our dear country, Cameroon as well as our US communities. We hope to see you for our 7th Annual Congress on August 13, 2016 at Rice University in Houston, TX
The CPS offers yearly scholarships to students of Cameroonian origin. Applicants are required to submit a personal statement and essay in the Spring and winners are announced in August. The scholarship is open to all Cameroonian undergraduate students in the US (including international students) as well as students in Cameroonian accredited universities.
